Mulierr was founded in 2013 by Paola and her ex business partner. After six years of collaborating together, Nicole took her place in the brand and became Paola’s new business partner.

Paola and Nicole are the designers and creative directors of Mulierr who met in 2009 while studying fashion design in Milan, Italy. Paola grew is Colombian, and Nicole was born and raised in Peru. Their Latin American heritage allowed them to establish a culturally rich DNA for the brand and it inspires them through their creation and material sourcing processes.

Paola and Nicole make frequent travels from Colombia to Peru to seek inspiration, collaborate with local communities, source for high quality materials, design, and develop their seasonal collections.

This Capsule Collection is the beginning of a new MLRR era. Two minds, two souls, two cultures, so many ideas but the same concept are the ingredients that MLRR used to capture the essence of the true Latin American woman. Dreams and inspirations from Colombia to Peru made this collection a little piece of Andean Magic. The most beautiful materials and the incredible detail handmade techniques full of history and heritage are the stars in this collection. The word SVILUPPO could be a masculine noun, but the beauty of the meaning is for sure female, and definitely our muse.

The art of creating together illuminates the mind, the soul and both worlds which transforms in a beautiful and powerful energy and synergy. The thread that connects everything is same thread that makes the KNIT.

SLOW FASHION

MLRR takes a sustainable approach when creating their garments, focusing on working with materials and resources that are ethically sourced, eco friendly, and have a low carbon impact.

COLLABORATIONS WITH COMMUNITIES & ARTISTS

Working and collaborating with local communities and individual artists who help determine the essence of the brand is a big part of MLRR’s purpose. They seek inspiration from their own cultures and incorporate unique and talented individuals in their creative process.

KNIT & EMBROIDERIES

With MLRR wants to mix the best of two worlds, the culture and the style of Colombia with the handmade knowledge and heritage of Peru. Mixing antique techniques with modern styles creates a very special place that combines the historical with the conceptual, the cultural and the modern, always honouring and respecting the roots and the living culture of South America.
