Sorrentino Studios is the creative endeavour of Melbourne based designer and champion of the slow fashion movement, Belinda Sorrentino. Each garmentis produced by the design house, is made-to-order and lovingly handcrafted in the designers’ Melbourne studio.

Sustainability is paramount; materials are environmentally friendly using premium deadstock fabrics and trims, local suppliers are prioritised and packaging is entirely recyclable.

ELEMENT 1.0 is inspired by the first element: Earth. Textures and silhouette forms are inspired by rocky desert mountains, sandstones, and volcanic rocks. Earthy, neutral tones are contrasted by darker volcanic hues, to represent the dark but protective side to earth’s layers, and the minerals that make it. Each garment is named after the rocks, flowers and plants that make up our land. Just like the first element, these garments are designed to last a lifetime; acting as a solid foundation for all future collections.

Belinda Sorrentino designed this collection in collaboration with She is Aphrodite (Michelle Pitiris), who created the beautiful visuals for the collection. Michelle and Belinda have been working together for a few years prior to releasing this collection, and have bonded through their creativity. The next three collections will connect through the 4 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air).
