Sergei Pozdniakov is an Australian fashion photographer with Russian roots and over five years of experience in capturing a European aesthetic through his work.

Beginning in 2015, Sergei worked for two years as a freelance photographer in China and Hong Kong, where he collaborated with local brands, young designers and models from around the world. After moving to Melbourne in 2017, has used his experience to elevate Australian companies in their visual features.

Sergei studied at Melbourne Polytechnic, where he completed his Diploma in Photography. He went on to be published in LUCY’S, ELFES and Atlas Magazines and has continued collaboration with top Australian agencies such as Chadwick, WINK, AZALIA, Giant, Vivien’s Models and more.

Sergei's style focusses on striking the balance between maintaining high industry standards whilst illuminating the natural features of his images. With his concentration on light, texture and detail of garments, his photographs capture the brand's aesthetics both in campaigns and on social media.
